Centre appoints Atul Chaudhary as new Trai secretary
  • The government appointed Atul Kumar Chaudhary as a secretary of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai).
  • Chaudhary, a 1989-batch Indian Telecommunication Services (ITS) officer, working as a deputy director general at the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
  • He worked in various capacities in the personnel, human resource (HR), administration, licensing, vigilance divisions of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and DoT.
