India to Acquire Three QRSAM Regiments for Army Air Defence, Valued at ₹30,000 Crore:

India is preparing to procure three Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) system regiments, developed domestically, for its Army Air Defence. This acquisition is estimated to cost ₹30,000 crore. The QRSAM system features a phased array surveillance radar capable of detecting targets up to 120 km away and a tracking radar with an 80 km effective range. It also includes Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) technology.
