NZP Saathi App and Self-Ticketing Kiosks Launched
  • The National Zoological Park (NZP), New Delhi, launched the “NZP Saathi App” and Self-ticketing Kiosks. Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh, inaugurated these initiatives to enhance visitor convenience.
  • Available on Android and iOS, the app offers an interactive digital map, smart navigation, real-time guidance, customizable thematic tours (Express, Family, Grand Zoo, and My Tour), and educational information about animals. Self-ticketing kiosks enable quick UPI-based payments with free Wi-Fi support, reducing queues and promoting cashless transactions.
  • Established in 1959, NZP focuses on wildlife conservation, education, and public awareness, housing species like Asiatic Lion, White Tiger, and Indian Rhinoceros.
